The Kia Sorento is a striking car – it oozes style with its exquisitely designed look, and provides excellent ride quality.

Whether you’re driving across the city centre, along the motorway or through muddy country roads, a used Kia Sorento will tackle any surface with aplomb.

Kia simply knows how to build a sound and reliable car – and a spacious one too!

In fact, the Sorento comes with loads of in-cabin space and a very roomy boot – what's not to like?

What are the Kia Sorento's boot dimensions?

The Kia Sorento features several trim levels within its range: the KX-1; KX-2; KX-3; and GT-Line S.

The Sorento also comes with different engine types, meaning you can choose from a petrol hybrid, a plug-in hybrid or a fully diesel option.

They all have varying boot sizes, and even if the difference in capacity isn’t significant, it’s still worth knowing how much room you’d have at hand.

How big is a Kia Sorento's boot?

If you need a big SUV with a capacious boot, the Kia Sorento is a very safe option.

As mentioned, all variations have a relatively similar boot size – they’re all big enough to ferry around pretty much anything you need!

Taking the petrol hybrid model as an example, you’ll benefit from an ample 608 litres of space with the back row of seats upright.

Should you need to carry a larger load, you can do so by folding down your rear seats, which will leave you with 1,996 litres of space.

How many seats are in a Kia Sorento?

This large-sized SUV is a seven-seater, meaning that it’s perfect for large families or for long road trips with your friends.

With a very spacious cabin, it offers all passengers excellent headroom and legroom – perfect for stretching and relaxing throughout the journey.

That said, the third row of seats is a bit more compact, so it’s probably best reserved for your younger travellers.

In terms of in-cabin storage, there are plenty of areas dotted around the car to help you carry essentials that are always within reach.

The Kia Sorento features large door pockets in the back, cup holders in the front, a good-sized glovebox.
