What is the importance of a different car insurance groups?
A car’s insurance group is one factor that helps determine how much your car insurance premium will be. Insurance groups band cars from the cheapest to most expensive to insure – group 1 is the cheapest and group 50 the most expensive. The insurance group of a car is decided independent of car manufacturers by a Group Rating Panel, made up of members of the Association of British Insurers and the Lloyds Market Association.
