2022 ID Buzz Cargo's affordable price is revealed
VW's commercial van eclipses its rivals with over 250 miles of range
Volkswagen has infused the style of its retro vans with futuristic tech to create the swish ID. Buzz Cargo, which is available to buy at a competitive price of £38,125 (without VAT).

It will be available in two trims with the entry level available for £38,125 - but as this is excluding VAT, it's expected to cost in the region of £45,000).
The entry-level model gets a great range of tech as standard, with a heated drivers seat, parking sensors and CarPlay/Android Auto.
But for those seeking a little bit more luxury, you can opt for the ID Buzz Commerce Plus which is priced at £42,375 (again, excluding VAT).
This upgraded spec comes with an array of kit, as you get a rear-view camera, heated screen and keyless entry.
VW says both ID Buzz Cargos will include the first three services and the first MOT when you buy them brand new.
They also both have up to 256 miles of range, thanks to its powerful 77kWh battery - which can be plugged into 170kW super-fast chargers, meaning you can get from 5%-80% in just 30 minutes. Rapid.
VW's 77kWh battery gives them an edge over their rivals (Peugeot e-Expert, Citroen e-Dispatch, Vauxhall Vivaro-e and the Toyota Proace Electric) as they can only manage a claimed range of just over 200 miles.
The van has a two-tone design which you can either have blue with white or opt for yellow, orange or green paint.
So, with the ID Buzz Cargo going on sale this year, keep your eyes out for this futuristic van because you certainly won't be able to hear it!
