Peugeot 3008 and 5008 receive upgraded trim levels
New trims see exterior, interior and powertrain changes
Peugeot is updating its lineup with the new and improved Active Premium+ and Allure Premium+ trim levels, and after rolling these upgrades out to the 208 and 2008, it's now the 3008 and 5008's turn!
Active Premium+ and Allure Premium+ replace previously available Active Premium and Allure Premium specs, while the base-level Allure trim has been removed.
As well as having more powertrain options than ever before, the Active Premium+ models have received a number of upgrades, including the addition of the 'Aluminium Pack' and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The Aluminium Pack features metal door sills and pedals, as well as striking aluminium roof rails.
The hybrid version of the 3008 is now also available on the Active Premium+ spec, meaning its entry price has been lowered – a big win.
The hybrid models also welcome the addition of a 10-inch touchscreen, frameless rear-view mirror, and driver's seat manual lumbar adjustment.
New 3008 and 5008 models will now only be available with eight-speed automatic gearboxes, with either a 1.2-litre petrol or 1.5-litre diesel engine. This comes after ‘growing customer demand’ for automatics in 2022, rather than manual cars.
