What is the Volkswagen Scirocco GT?

A used Scirocco GT is a well-equipped version of the Volkswagen Scirocco and is one of the most readily available versions you can get.

Inspired by the more powerful GTC model, the Scirocco GT comes with extra sporty tweaks inside and out, as well as more kit than the entry-level versions.

Because it’s still a standard car, you’ll get a pick of efficient petrol and diesel engines, making it a sporty model that you can live with every day.

What are the Volkswagen Scirocco GT specs?

Most Scirocco GT cars for sale come with a 2.0-litre engine, and the most performance comes from the 210hp 2.0-litre petrol, though a 180hp variant was also available.

There are also 2.0-litre diesel options, including a lesser-powered variant with 140hp or 150hp, depending on model year, and a more powerful version with 170hp, 177hp or 184hp, depending on the age of the car.

Later on, Volkswagen also made a more economical 1.4-litre petrol an option – it puts out a total of 125hp.

Some highlights of the Scirocco GT include leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, heated front sports seats and an adaptive chassis control to toggle between Normal, Comfort and Sport settings.
