From mid-2018, Audi started to offer a plug-in hybrid model called the A6 TFSI e, which offers cutting-edge battery technology and aims to make way for more of Audi’s all-electric models further down the line. As for the boot, the A6 saloon comes with a respectable 530 litres of space, but it's worth remembering that hybrid models will have slightly less space and estate (Avant) variants offer a much larger boot.

The Audi A6 is built on the same platform as plenty of other Audi cars and a few others from Volkswagen and Porsche, which is testament to its extremely high build quality.
