What is the Audi A7 S line?

An Audi A7 S line is a sporty-looking variant of the German manufacturer’s biggest coupé, which has enough practicality to rival many large saloons despite its sloping roofline.

Finished in high-spec S line trim, it has a sportier design and a few extra bits of equipment inside and out.

Despite the sporty looks, it comes with a range of efficient engines that keep the cost of motoring down, but they still pack enough of a punch to back up this car’s dynamic aesthetic.

What are the Audi A7 S line specs?

The A7 shares many of its parts with the A6, including its engines. Newer cars come with 2.0-litre mild hybrid options in the form of the 204hp 40 TDI diesel and the 265hp 45 TFSI petrol.

There’s also a 299hp plug-in hybrid, badged 50 TFSI e, which uses a petrol engine, an electric motor, and a battery that should give you around 40 miles of electric motoring between charges.

Some older models come with even more performance, such as the 231hp 45 TDI diesel, the 286hp 50 TDI diesel, and the 340hp 55 TFSI petrol, which both use 3.0-litre V6 engines.

Used Audi A7 S line features and equipment

The 2018-onward second-generation models are the ones to go for if you like car tech because they come with the usual touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, and an additional screen on the centre console for controlling the cabin’s temperature.

Newer A7 S line models also get large 20-inch alloys, a firmer suspension setup, and a sporty bodykit with a retractable spoiler and tinted windows.

Other equipment includes matrix LED headlights that adjust to prevent blinding oncoming traffic, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, all-around parking sensors, a reversing camera, cruise control and keyless entry.

Where the A7 S line sits in the Audi range

S line is generally considered to be a well-equipped trim level, and it’s one of Audi’s most popular versions, including the A7.

It sits somewhere in the middle, above the current entry-level Sport trim. Older models had a lower-spec SE version, but it still comes with more than your standard amount of equipment.
