What is the Ford C-Max Titanium?

The Ford C-Max is a mid-sized people carrier that shares many of its parts with the popular Focus hatchback.

In Titanium spec, it has a longer list of standard equipment than most other variants of this car, as well as a general feeling of quality throughout the cabin.

Ford stopped selling all versions of this model – including the C-Max Titanium – in 2019, which means prices for used models have had a few years to drop to more affordable levels.

What are the Ford C-Max Titanium specs?

A second-hand C-Max Titanium for sale comes with plenty of choice in terms of engines, including a 150hp 1.5-litre petrol.

Many buyers, however, will opt for the 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, which is an excellent pick and suits town driving. There are 100hp and 125hp variants of it.

Fans of diesel power, including anybody driving long distances, have the choice of a 120hp 1.5-litre engine.

Used Ford C-Max Titanium features and equipment

Despite being a few years old, a used Ford C-Max Titanium still comes with plenty of comforts, including automatic wipers and headlights with LED daytime running lights, keyless entry and dual-zone climate control.

Newer models, which are best recognised by their revised front end and grille design, come with an easy-to-use eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

As well as the standard-fit individual rear seats, which each fold down separately, the Titanium trim also adds a few other family-friendly features, like storage on the ceiling.

Where the C-Max Titanium sits in the Ford range

There aren’t too many trim levels to consider when buying a second-hand Ford C-Max. Titanium is a well-equipped mid-spec model, sitting one below the top-spec Titanium X.

Entry-level cars are called Zetec, and while they come with all the essentials, Titanium is a worthwhile upgrade.
