What is the Ford EcoSport Zetec?

The Ford EcoSport is the brand’s smallest and most affordable crossover, though it’s no longer on sale as the similarly sized Puma has indirectly replaced it in a more stylish, coupé-like format.

A used EcoSport has traditional SUV proportions and has a lot of road presence despite its compact dimensions.

What are the Ford EcoSport Zetec specs?

Don’t be put off by this being the entry-level model, because you still get access to Ford’s excellent range of engines.

The pick of the bunch is the 100hp 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol, which is reasonably punchy and has fuel economy figures to rival many diesel engines. On that note, if you drive longer distances, the 100hp 1.5-litre diesel may be more up your street.

Depending on the model year, other options include a more powerful 125hp 1.0-litre petrol and a less powerful 95hp 1.5-litre diesel.
