Ford Mondeo history 

The fourth and final version of the Ford Mondeo went on sale in 2012 and got several updates, while a fifth-generation Mondeo was released in China only in 2022.

Its tech is great, but practicality is just important, so it’s impressive that you’ll get five seats with a choice of four or five doors and a 383-403-litre boot. Most models also get ISOFIX car seat points, so you can travel with children safe and secure in the rear.

How much does the Ford Mondeo cost to run?

Most Ford Mondeo cars for sale are cheaper than other premium saloons to insure, plus tyres and other parts tend to be more affordable and readily available. 

All engines are efficient, but the diesels are best suited to longer trips.

The hybrids can be efficient, but the petrols are just as good around town and are cheaper to buy in the first place.
