What features does the Honda CR-V have?

The sixth-generation Honda CR-V comes with more than you might expect from an affordable family SUV, including heated front seats, a wireless phone charger, keyless entry, all-round parking sensors, a reversing camera and a powered bootlid.

You also get a large nine-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and access to the My Honda+ app for controlling some car functions remotely.

If you’re after a plug-in hybrid model, you’ll have to settle for top spec, which means things like a heated steering wheel, a 360-degree parking camera and self-parking come as standard.

Is the Honda CR-V reliable?

Yes, Honda is known for building long-lasting models. It helps that parts tend to be cheaper than similar SUVs from premium brands, which means it can be cheaper to look after a CR-V.

Honda has also been building hybrid powertrains for years, so while some car companies are only just beginning, Honda’s tech is already tried and tested.

How much does the Honda CR-V cost to run?

Depending on the model year, there are petrol and diesel models with two- and four-wheel drive available, with fuel economy figures topping out around the 40mpg mark in real-world conditions.

The hybrids are more economical – Honda says you can drive the latest CR-V e:PHEV for around 50 miles on electric mode. The 17.7kWh battery could cost as little as £1.25 to fully charge with an off-peak rate (7p/kWh).
