They’re not as small as they once were, but as SUVs become more popular, Mini’s not being left behind. 

History of MINI

In 1996, BMW bought the British car company in a move to make its cars more reliable and get a wider reach across the automotive industry. 

Nowadays, Minis aren’t so ‘mini’, with models such as the Countryman and Clubman towering over the standard Hatch model.  

This is designed to appeal to a wider audience who are considering an SUV over a smaller city car like the compact Mini Cooper from the '60s. Another reason BMW has been so pivotal to Mini’s success is by providing solidly reliable engines that are efficient and easy to maintain.

Modern used Mini cars for sale come packed with high levels of tech, including a large (and very round) infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sat-nav, a superb sound system as standard, and lots of driving assistance features.
