What are the Volkswagen Polo SEL specs?

A Polo SEL for sale can be had with either a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine or a slightly larger 1.6-litre TDI diesel engine. These offer various power outputs, ranging from 93hp to 115hp.

Fuel efficiency is good too, with the petrol offering up to 54.3mpg and the diesel offering up to 57.6mpg. Mated to these can either be a five-speed manual or a smoother DSG automatic gearbox.

Behind the wheel, the Polo SEL is really competent on the road and feels much more grown-up than it looks in terms of performance, stability and handling – it's basically a smaller Golf.
