Black Edition is the name given to the top-spec Audi A1 models, and it bridges the gap between performance S1 models and regular A1 models by offering bags of style without the high running costs.

You can buy a used Audi A1 Black edition from almost any model year because it became available almost immediately after Audi first launched the first-generation A1.

What are the Audi A1 Black Edition specs?

If you’ve got your eye on an Audi A1 Black Edition for sale then you’ll get full access to the model’s engine range, starting with a 95hp 1.0-litre petrol engine, badged 25 TFSI.

There are also 110hp variants of the same engine, badged 30 TFSI, and a more powerful 150hp 1.5-litre petrol, badged 35 TFSI.

First-generation models were also available with 125hp, 150hp and 185hp variants of a 1.4-litre petrol, a 116hp 1.6-litre diesel, and a 143hp 2.0-litre diesel.
