Despite the sporty appearance, the used Ford Puma ST-Line X comes with an extremely economical and pleasantly quick 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine.
Ford only sells the Puma ST-Line X with its seriously impressive 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, so there’s no bad pick.
The most common configuration you’ll find is the 125hp model, though there are even quicker ones that have 155hp.
Because the Puma is such a new model for Ford, all versions get mild hybrid tech, which means improved fuel economy and reduced emissions, with the aim of getting you a cheaper car tax bill.
On the outside, Puma ST-Line X models come with stylish 18-inch alloys, a sporty bodykit and rear parking sensors.
They also get keyless go, a wireless phone charger, cruise control and a heated windscreen, which makes icy winter mornings less of a chore.

ST-Line-branded models are typically thought of as being high-spec, and the ST-Line X sits above the regular ST-Line.
However, there are also ST-Line Vigale models sitting even higher, plus performance ST cars with 170hp or 200hp.
At the bottom of the range is the Titanium model, which is a very well-equipped car, meaning that there’s no bad pick.
There are no low-spec Zetec or Trend models as you’d find in other Ford cars, like the Fiesta on which this is based.
