Some of the Crossland’s stand-out features include an (optional) eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and start, a heated steering wheel and heated front seats.  

If you want the best of the best then the Crossland Ultimate is the one to have, but we think most people would be more than happy with the mid-spec GS model.  

But even in the entry-level Design model, you get a lane departure warning system, automatic wipers and cruise control with a speed limiter.   

There’s also a seven-inch infotainment system that you can link your smartphone to. 

Is the Vauxhall Crossland reliable?

Being a simple and small SUV, a used Vauxhall Crossland is a reliable car. It also helps that Vauxhall sits under the Stellantis umbrella – a corporation that also owns Peugeot, Citroen, Dodge, Chrysler and more.   

From new, Vauxhall’s warranty offers three years/unlimited mileage for the first 12 months and is subject to a total mileage limit of 60,000 miles. This can be transferred to the new owner, making used models even more appealing.  

In its most recent Euro NCAP crash test, the Crossland scored a full five stars thanks to some solid safety features such as a seatbelt reminder, rear child seat ISOFIX mounts and plenty of airbags. 

How much does the Vauxhall Crossland cost to run?

Unlike other Vauxhall models that are going hybrid or electric, the Crossland has remained with either a petrol or diesel engine.  

Most variants are turbocharged, and the only version you can buy new is a small 1.2-litre turbo unit, which Vauxhall believes is all everyone needs.  

All engines are fuel efficient, which helps with overall running costs, with the engines averaging around 40-50mpg.  

Insurance is affordable too, with the models ranging from insurance groups 15-19.  

What’s even better is that buying one used means that the majority of depreciation has taken place already, so you can enjoy your new Crossland without worrying about losing too much money.
